In wake of historic flooding on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, AT&T jumped at the opportunity to help flood victims in the earliest hours of need.
In addition to a $10,000 donation to the Salvation Army, AT&T provided bottled water and food to flood victims on the Reservation where entire communities were cut off by rising water.
AT&T also engaged two of its South Dakota stores, in Spearfish and Rapid City, to take donations of critical cleaning supplies for recovery and relief for those impacted by flooding.
“We’re proud to be part of recovery efforts for victims of flooding this spring on the Reservation,” said Cheryl Riley, president, AT&T Northern Plains. “It’s clear our communities are willing to lend a hand and lift one another up. The spirit of South Dakota won’t be dampened.”
