AT&T donates $10K to statewide COVID-19 relief fund

The fund, created by United Ways of Idaho, Idaho Community Foundation, and the Idaho Nonprofit Center, helps underserved, low-income communities struggling to meet basic needs.

AT&T recently announced a $10,000 contribution to support the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund. The fund, created by United Ways of Idaho, Idaho Community Foundation, and the Idaho Nonprofit Center, helps underserved, low-income communities struggling to meet basic needs.

Since mid-March, the relief fund has addressed:

  • Housing needs
  • Food scarcity
  • Providing mental health services
  • Domestic violence prevention services
  • Childcare

To-date, the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund has provided more than $1 million of aid to trusted community organizations serving efforts to aid in COVID response. While initial funding has gone to the most pressing basic needs, funding is still needed to aid nonprofits and other local organizations who have suffered in the wake of social isolation.
