Cell Towers & COWS Enhance Service for Much Anticipated Summer Events in Wyoming

Summer in Wyoming is always a great season. Thousands of festival goers at Cheyenne Frontier Days were able to post and tweet faster than ever before with a new AT&T cell tower disguised as an old-fashioned water tower on the north side of Frontier Park. Wyoming was in the direct path of the solar eclipse this past August, and thousands of Americans made the trek to see this once in a lifetime viewing. To make sure service was optimized, AT&T installed three Cell On Wheels (COW) at the Glendo Reservoir in eastern Wyoming, which provided extra LTE coverage and boosted network capacity at the reservoir by 160%. The other 2 COWs were placed in Teton County.
