STEM Matters

Tara Thue, Director of External Affairs for AT&T in Idaho, attended STEM Matters day at the Idaho legislature. The event, held at the Boise Capitol during the third week of the 2017 session, was led by the STEM Action Center in Boise to showcase the many talented students, projects and programs focused on STEM education in the state. Between 2012 and 2015, AT&T has contributed or directed more than $85,000 to 12 STEM-focused organizations in the state of Idaho. One such organization is the Discovery Center of Idaho where AT&T sponsored an all-girls coding camp for high school-aged girls to learn the basics of computer coding. The STEM Action Center has also been supported through corporate funding.
